LEGRES is the vision of a London-based design collective and traditional Italian shoe artisans. A selective view on footwear classics, given through the need to preserve time-honored shoemaking practices and the passion to re-interpret the archived styles into contemporary objects.
LEGRES collections explore the rich shoe design history and highlights the forgotten classics in a modernized way – by taking an edgy and minimalist approach in form and material combinations, and sharpening the details. By appreciating the history and iconic shoe models from the past, LEGRES breeds its own versions of forgotten classics by creating statement footwear that speaks for itself.
Each collection celebrates the love towards the shoe-making craft and offers the highest quality materials applied to the designs with refined lines, giving extraordinary attention to the details. LEGRES uses mainly high quality soft and fine leathers, all made in Italy.
